I basically keep things pretty simple with children in the primary grades, and I only use parts of the programs listed with upper elementary. I also have parents bringing children to treatment, so I have a wonderful opportunity of teaching them to have a positive attitude. There are really not limits to the "My Story" ppt and that really gives you an idea of where a child is functioning about talking. I have been surprised by some of the things that kids write..which leads to discussion of other issues. I also want to say that I work on strategies alot in treatment..we will sometimes use the ppts. as practice. Thanks for your quesion..
