You have made your own journey as a clinician..and believe me, your journey will change!! Our kids and adults who stutter do have to know how to handle tough speaking situaions. As a slp who specializes in stuttering, I frequently am asked questions that lead me to realize how much people don't know about stuttering...I frequently talk about famous people who stutter or talk about stutteing..but the bigger point is that we have to prepare our clients for these questions...it is tough.
