Thanks for your great question..if a child/teen is really struggling with emotional issues, I will refer for couselling. I do not try to solve a child/teens emotional problems or fix a difficult parent interaction. I do spend more time with parents who seem to be making comments whicn indicate a poor understanding of the needs of the child. good luck and thanks for your comments...
