Hi, I am a first year graduate student at New York University. I found your article very interesting since it is a very important to help a client change their attitudes towards their stuttering. From the ways you recommended, would they be different depending on the age of the particular client? Would you approach the therapy differently to address attitude changes for children, teenagers, young adults, and adults? Which areas do your clients find the most difficult about changing their attitudes, and which do they find the easiest? I would think transferring negative thoughts into positive thoughts would be difficult, since this usually is easier said than done. Thank you for your help!
