Since I am in private practice, I do not have as much communication with teachers..but I have had many students share their "stories" with parents. I had one mother of a high school student call me..she was crying. In her son's story, (which he had left on her desk) he had discussed how he wished his parents would quit questionning him every time he came back from therapy!! He talked about stuttering as being his issue and one that he was working on..and he told them that it would help if they did not ask him so "many damn questions"...:) I am sure that these stories could also be shared with teachers with a student's permission...it is important for the students to have the power to determine who reads a personal story...but it has opened alot of dialogue for many kids/teens in my practice. good luck...
