I was very impressed with the focus and analysis of the attitudes of children who stutter. The PowerPoint presentations are very empowering for these children. It allows them their own voice. It reinforces the fact that they are capable. The My Story framework gives these children alot of room to express themselves. Sharing their stories with their families alows them to be more fully understood. Sharing their stories with other children who stutter mitigates their feelings about being alone. When children are active within their own treatment, they are more invested. Thank you for this article.
