Hello, I am a graduate student working on my degree in Speech-Language Pathology. One of my personal goals is to make sure my clients enjoy coming to speech. I know that each person and situation is different, but do you have any suggestions on any good starting activities for teenagers with negative feelings about their speech, who maybe aren't ready to approach thier issues yet? I know in your article you mention talking to other who stutter can help. Do you feel that introducing them to another person who stutters can help 'break the ice' with their speech issues? -or do you feel that if that is done too early, that the client might feel more self-conscious? You thoughts on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lisa
