This article was very inspiring for me to read as a graduate student currently taking a fluency course. I would agree that the child's attitude on stuttering and how it affects them is so important. Like you mentioned they have these misconceptions about the idea of stuttering and that leads to everything involved with stuttering which affects their daily lives in many ways. If you're able to get through to them and change their way of thinking about it, I feel like you have conquered one of the largest parts of the "problem". Having students that are old enough create their own powerpoints is a great idea that allows them to share their own experiences about stuttering in a way that is hip and fun for them. I learned a lot from article and will remember your techniques and ideas. Thank you for sharing!
