Sarah, Oh absolutely! That 95% obsession figure is probably the number one thing that fluent people simply don't understand about people who stutter. While it totally dominates our lives, it's below the minor recognition line for them. The disconnect there is astonishing. It took me FOREVER to understand that. .... No doubt your teaching career will be FAR more challenging than your speech. Just remember, it's not about YOU, it's about the KIDS. (... and the paperwork and the lesson plans, and all the other "stuff" that goes along with teaching.) It ain't easy work, is it? But that's why you get paid the big bucks! :) .... We need to get back to IM and maybe Facebook. Vivian Sisskin is pretty cool, isn't she?
