Sarah, You said, "I love the idea of a student knowing something because I taught it to him or her." Now you can SHOW him or her how to handle adversity. They can see you teaching IN SPITE OF the fact you stutter. You don't let your problem stand in the way of what you want to do. That is such a POWERFUL lesson! Like it or not, we become role models for the people who follow us. ... We have a very unusual - and admittedly sometimes difficult - card to play in life, but if we learn to play it properly, we can do absolutely amazing things that not many people can do.
