Hi John, Thanks for your kind words. Coming from you, that REALLY means a LOT to me! …. I remember that awful “stuttering contest” that you made me enter in Houston – and I wound up getting SECOND PLACE! Ha, ha, ha! But that was a real turning point for me. You told me that if I could survive that, I could survive anything. And you were absolutely RIGHT! …. And your book “How to Have Fun Speaking Before People” was my real start into Toastmasters - after getting kicked in the pants by Jim Black! What a life we’ve led…! … I’m writing this in Rapid City, South Dakota. My wife and I are taking a LONG vacation trip seeing the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore, on our way to Michigan for Halloween with our daughter and her family. On the way we’re going to stop in Mankato to see Judy Kuster and her stuttering class next Monday. Can’t seem to get away for all this stuttering stuff, can I? :) … We really missed you in Scottsdale but I understand. How is your wife getting along these days? Well I hope. I hope to see you again in Cleveland. ... Russ
