Hi Tom, Thank you for your feedback. It's so easy to say that you are so tired of dealing with stuttering and just say "You know, I am hurting so much that my real pleasure is to make others feel how miserable I am." That is surely the easiest reaction, but now the best one. For so many years I had a "It's me-against-the-world" mentality, and I realized that I have to rise above it. Being a teammate who stutters means that we will ebb and flow, and we'll have good days and bad days. Ironically, as I write this, I just came back from speaking at a college class of SLP graduate students, which is one of my pride and joys. There were some sentences I wish I could have said much better, and some words I would have liked to pronounce better. But in the end, my voice is heard. That's all that matters when it comes to being a teammate who stutters. Make your voice heard!!!! Regards and best wishes, Steven Kaufman
