This is one of the most vivid articles I've ever read on the importance of attitude as it affects a stutterer's life. I'm glad you've been able to tell us about the lesson you learned---how no one is perfectly self-sufficient but can benefit from a support group and learn to be less defensive and antagonistic, and willing to accept help and cooperation.
