Hi Aimee! Thank you for reading "A is for Attitude." The one common theme that is echoed by most of my NSA teammates is that they wish they had found out about this conference earlier. I am the exact same way....until I attended the 2006 annual conference, I had never even spoken to another person who stuttered in my life. When you stutter and you feel so alienated and alone, you really feel like you don't want to live in the present-day society, because to quote a line from the song "Iris," "You don't want the world to see you because you don't think they'd understand." I really longed for a place to call my own, and the NSA has been so instrumental in that regard. I want to encourage all the teammates around the world who stutter to find their own place and join the NSA!!!!
