Hi Jess! Thank you for your comments. I think speech therapy has played a strong role in my life, but it didn't take shape until the second time I went back. I had been in and out of speech therapy for several years and decided to return when I saw my speech really went downhill. I was very anxious and felt like I had been out of practice for so long. I was deathly afraid, but sought out a good speech therapist who would let me go at my own pace. There are many types of speech therapy techniques I have learned and I am happy I got a chance to experience all of them, for they have shaped me into the person I am!
