Hi Ruthann, Thank you for writing in! The challenging aspect of stuttering is that one never knows what kind of speech day you will have. It could be a day when you are fluent, or one where you struggle to get out every word. I would come home and beat myself up over it and say that I am better than what I sounded like. But the most important thing is that if you have a bad day, it's OK!!!! I focus on my work with the NSA, which is my rock, my strength, and my courage to do what is right in my life. My relationship with this organization is the best one I will ever have in my life!
