Hello Melissa! Thank you for your compliments regarding the "fear nothing" approach. When I began speech therapy, I remember that I could barely say my own name, and every other sentence was a block that seemed to last forever. On my worst days I questioned why I had to struggle with this, and then I began to realize that it lies inside of me-the power to decide what stuttering is going to do to my life. For the longest time I felt like stuttering was a "personal trauma," but I also began to see that trauma can also be used to make you see what is important-and controlling my speech is! I do go to speech therapy every week to stay on top of it and I now know that I feel so alive when I speak!
