Thank you both for a great history of the ISAD and the Online Stuttering Conferences. You've compiled and presented a great deal of information in a neat and orderly fashion, which fortunately will remain accessible for anyone to read at any time. Wendell Johnson would have been delighted with your efforts. He was always seeking ways to publicize information about stuttering and its therapy; to this end he wrote several books and countless magazine articles. He directed my M.A. thesis in 1948 which was titled "A Stuttering Magazine for the Lay Public: Analysis and Planning." The proposed mag never got off the ground, but with the advent of computers and the internet, something much more effective came along due to the pioneering efforts of Judy Kuster and Michael Sugarman. So thank you, more power to you, and keep up the great work!
