oops when I re-read your comment, I meant "the face" not "the look" - but even normally fluent speakers know what this means, altho presumably we don;t get it as often. Or do some speakersle, whether fluent or not, read into "the face" of their listeners too much? An interesting Q that gets into the topics of temperament and senstivity
