My name is Brett Bumbico. I am a graduate student at West Virginia University. I have never thought about stuttering from this perspective, it is interesting to look at another individual’s point of view. Do you think that stuttering will ever be “demedicalized” or viewed as “normal”? If so, how far off in the future do you see this? It is very interesting that you bring up disorders from the past that were considered deviant and are now accepted (such as left handedness).
