Are you proposing that the stuttering population should not work towards being better speakers? What about working on the behaviors (eg avoidance) and secondary symptoms (eg eye blinking)? Could these characteristics be avoided in stutterers, if they had seeked therapy ealier (since these characteristics are seen in advanced stutterers)?
