The concept is very good and it is already happening. More and more PWS are accepting themselves with their speech. See the articles in this very conference. Reactions (mostly from SLP fraternity) is understandable. When in India, some Yogi starts treating Diabetes, Hypertension, weight problems, all through Yoga for free- many Medical doctors get very critical and upset! BTW, I am a medical doctor and a stammerer!! I totally agree with author: self help groups are more cost effective and change in society is more imperative than in our speech. Congratulations, Cristobal! Your write up is very timely and pertinent.
