Ok, my friend, stuttering is as old as man. I agree with that. I agree with the idea that stuttering belongs to humankind, stuttering is written in man´s roots. So it cannot be modified. If it cannot be modified, as clinical practise confirm, why is it constructed as a syndrome which should be modified? Stuttering exists and it will always exists. This is the difference: if I conceive stuttering as transfluency, I understand stuttering as a human characteristic, not a syndrome. If I conceive stuttering as transfluency, I understand stuttering as a WAY of communication. If I conceive stuttering as transfluency, I understand stuttering as a human characteristic and not a mental disorder. Good bye, my friend, yo también soy de comer aparte. Cristóbal
