Mr. Lukong – Thank you for your article. It is truly amazing what one person with a vision can accomplish. You had mentioned in your article that some individuals shared about experiences they went through, such as teasing. In general, is stuttering stigmatized in Africa as it once was in the United States? I would imagine that people wouldn’t be very aware of it, and that the resources that are available must focus on helping those who stutter rather than educating the general public about the issue.
