Hi, As I was reading your article, I was amazed to find that people view stutterers the same in other countries as they do here, and that the reactions are still the same (i.e. teasing, attitudes and feelings). I also thought it was really wonderful that the people there were able to learn more about stuttering as they most likely had never been provided with such information before. In talking to them, did you come across any myths or beliefs as to why people thought they stuttured? Where their any treatments that people attempted in order to terminate their stuttering? However, my main question would be, have you volunteered in other third world countries and if so, where the results the same as they were in Cameroon?
