Thank you, Joseph Lukong, for providing the story of how Gordon Skinner, a Canadian speech pathologist, spent six weeks in Cameroon conducting stuttering therapy and disseminating information about stuttering. To put it emphatically, the world needs more--much more --people like Gordon Skinner. He paid his own air fare to Cameroon. and his food while there. He charged nothing for his services while in that country. Skinner is one in a million, or more likely several million. If only he could be replicated endlessly!
