Sandra Wow, thanks for your very warm compliments for this paper. You would be welcome to help in any particular part of Africa. I am gald to hear that you have plans to volunteer in Africa. If the time comes and you need any ideas from me, do not fail to contact me. In any given society, there are the good and the not-all-that good persons. In my country, those very good persons react very favourably to those who stutter and the other group react very negatively towards people who stutter. They make fun of them, call them names, tease them etc. This I think is due to the absence of adequate education. Children should be taught to accept people who are different from them or have disabilities. If they are taught these while they are kids they may grow up to practice this. this is still lacking in many African societies. Could you tell me a little about how members of the community reacted to PWS?
