I am currently a graduate student at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I am enrolled in Judy Kuster's fluency disorder course. I was a little confused on how the first metaphor relates to a child who stutters. I am wondering if you are able to provide a short example to your first metaphor, what you would tell parents to help them understand the process of therapy in terms of a combination lock. Thanks!
