I'm wondering if you ever think more intensive treatments are necessary or efficacious (especially, for example, for a younger child - preschool or kindergarten - with a clear family history of severe stuttering into adulthood)? I'm thinking of a program like the Lidcombe... Perhaps this is a bit off topic given your specific article, but I would love to know your opinion. Then again, perhaps such intensive treatments aren't realistic for a school setting? Thank you!
