Karen, you use the correct word--empower. That is what I try to do--empower the client and/or family to solve their own problem in their own way. Thanks for bringing this up. Good luck with using the Talk Time in a private practice. I would be interested in how it goes for you. Regarding working with clinicians in a school setting, my advice would be to have them read my article and then let me know if they have questions. What I do is not difficult. One does have to have the proper mind set, however. That mind set is "I can't solve your problem for you but I can help you help yourself if you are willing." Best wishes.
