Thanks for a dofferent perspective. I am an adult who stutters. I was very covert for most of my life, after receiving negative messages about my stuttering almpost as soon as it started. I only had one school year of therapy, in third grade, and don't remember it being helpful at all. This sounds like a great stuttering management approach, and great tools for new clinicians without much experience with stuttering to use. You obviously understand the need to meet the person where he or she is at. Sometimes its not the stuttering at all that needs to be worked on - its fear, shame, all that other stuff that leads to deeper issues. Thanks for sharing this paper with us!
