I believe this article provides exceptional information to graduate students like myself regarding the realities of stuttering therapy in a school setting. I remember completing my observation hours in the public schools and thinking to myself, how can this SLP be providing efficacious and consistent treatment to all of these children? Incorporating a multidisciplinary approach by involving the parents and teacher is a great way to promote consistent treatment. My question to you is how would you simplify stuttering therapy if the parent(s) did not follow through?
