As a Graduate student currently enrolled in a Fluency class, I found this article to be very insightful. This approach seems like an excellent way to provide the client with more functional techniques to control stuttering. Involving the parents in the process through Talk Time allows the child to use these techniques to communicate in contexts that are more authentic and comfortable for them. I particularly liked the practice of establishing goals with input from the child and/or parents. I am curious as to how you handle cases in which the parents either do not participate, or do so in contexts other than those you suggest.
