I am a second year graduate student studying under an excellent professor and I must admit I was somewhat surprised when I first read your article and you referred to stuttering as “a problem that needs to be solved.” The more I thought about your rational, I can completely see where you coming from in this approach. I would like first thank you for this excellent article and for bringing a new approach to my mind, but I also would like to ask you about parent’s attitudes towards your approach. Overall, what is the general consensus on parent’s attitudes towards your approach for “solving the problem?”
