Sayard, absolutely yes the peers can be used and yes, this can promote classroom understanding of the problem. The key is to use as many of the key people in the child's communication environment as possible. This includes paents, siblings, grandparents, teachers, friends, relatives, etc. The more people in the child's communication environment who understand how to respond to stuttering the better for the child. Thanks for your insightful comments.
