Tamara, I think you can use a family approach to managing any kind of disorder. The child has a much better chance of improving when the communication environment is involved in all aspects of the program. I work in a school system so I use a family approach mostly with articulation an language as well as stuttering. I would not do anything else. Thanks for your questions.
