My name is Brett Bumbico, I am a graduate student at West Virginia University currently taking a course in advanced stuttering. I really enjoyed reading your article. I find myself often assuming that everyone is as well informed as myself, about stuttering and the issues surrounding it. This is a great article to share with anyone. It includes a lot of great data about stuttering and the problems that a person who stutters has to deal with everyday. I also think that it is great how you included information about stuttering support groups and activities. Before entering graduate school I was not aware that groups like this were available. Finally I never realized that some individuals seek alternative treatment for stuttering. I have never heard of that before and find it very interesting. This is a great article and a great survey.
