I really enjoyed reading this survey. It had a ton of great information in it. I am currently studying to be an SLP and am in my last year of graduate school. We only have one class on stuttering and the consensus of the class was that we were all nervous to work with people who stutter because we did not know what to do! It is not often we get people who stutter in our clinics, so we do not have enough exposure as we do with articulation or language cases. This survey made me realize how important it is to have more fluency specialists in our field to help this population. I think many of us would feel more confident in treating if we were had more experience with this population.
