First I want to say that I really enjoyed reading this article and I think that the survey provided a lot of valuable information, especially for future SLP's like myself. I also am writing because I would like some clarification regarding a few things. Of the 1,235 people who responded to the survey it included 354 SLP's. Were these SLP's who also stutter, or were they reporting information based on their clients? In addition, in the first chart "How Does Stuttering affect Your Life" one of the questions was cut off. It read, "You have been teased or ridiculed about your stuttering within the pa.." I assumed it simply said in the past, however 52% of the respondents reported not at all. I was shocked by this so now I am thinking that it specified a certain time period (e.g. in the past year). If you are able to clarify any of these points for me that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for a great survey!
