I think it's important for SLPs to understand that traditional speech therapy is not the only wheel in town. Stuttering treatment is completely unregulated, and the inept therapy many PWS have received --along with the desperation many PWS feel -- feeds a burgeoning market in stuttering "cures." Google "stuttering" some time to see the variety of snake oil out there.
