I feel this survey was very insightful. I noticed the data showed that alternative treatments were less successful than speech therapy in helping stuttering. I was wondering if there is any data that shows if the combination of speech therapy and alternative treatments is effective in helping stutterers. I know speech therapy s the most beneficial, especially with a properly trained clinician, but alternative treatments may be a good way to help with the negative emotions and attitudes that stutterers carry around. Is there any data that shows the effects of speech therapy in conjunction with an alternative treatment on stuttering?
