I most heartily agree: the population in general, and more specifically people who work for disability services (university, work place, etc) need to be better informed about stuttering. Another thought I had...there is a conundrum here: many PWS don't want to consider themselves "disabled" yet may be in need of special services. In my opinion we (anyone who stutters or works with those who stutter) need to work harder at educating others about stuttering.
