I think it’s really important that stutterers make others aware of their stuttering and the fact that it can hinder a person in a variety of daily activities. However being that a person’s University years are filled with life changing experiences, wouldn’t it be beneficial and practical for stutterers to be independent and not have to depend on disability service officers? That way a person who stutters can learn to adapt to the stresses of life on their own, so that they can prepare themselves for their future and professional careers.
