Hello Tom, I think that computer generated worlds hold a lot of potential if thought out correctly to match the target audience. It is highly debateable if they are in fact a game or not. Really they are a user driven experience. As for blind stutterers that is an interesting question. The problems of design would be how to navigate sround features and interact with them and other users. Honestly something I have not considered. Also it would depend on the degree of blindness. For some blind users enlarging icons and adding sound prompts may be a simple fix. Also a simplified housing structure would help. If it were a support group for example I would provide them with direct links only to that area/room and have the communication channels always open and active. I think with thought and design we can capture all users and enable them to interact. The same problems also extend to more conventional games like first person shooters and strategy games - how can they be designed for all user types? I am thinking now :)
