Great to hear from you Sara. Many people would not class 2nd Life as a game as it is really a user lead experience. But using it in some fashion in a game like sense and using a game-like pitch may indeed help to focus on children and their treatment and social needs. Yes this directly taps into the new generations of online and somewhat tech-savvy users. It bridges the distance tyrannies of time and distance. Support groups will be held soon. The personal representation ("avatar") is very interesting and there have been and are continuing studies into choice and modification. Some people cross-genders, become a fantasy character or simply scultpure their own apearance somewhat. They cannot change their voice though unless they are running it first through some piece of software. That would not remove the dislfuencies though
