Hello KDS, Nice questions. I do not see a reason why the practise would not carry over to real life. I do not think these sims could be used 100% soley as practise though. Testing in the future may shed some light. The 2nd Life environment is very easy to use and nt as scary as it looks. There are heaps of general tutorials around also. The sims are only in prototype design and are also easy to use with simple button presses. They will be refined in the future.
