First, thank you for your very enlightening paper! As an SLP and PWS, I've worked a lot with adults on cognitive restructuring activities. Certainly, it has intrigued me to find some who need a lot of assistance and others a lot less. Based on your discussion, do you know of any standardized (or non-standardized) instruments to help gauge whether a person falls into one or the other category? So, far, all that I've seen are attitude scales, locus of control, and others such as those what try to assess level of avoidance. Thanks again!
