Dear Ken, I don’t know about standardized instruments to measure how much a person is mastery-oriented or helpless with regard to speech (don’t forget that the same person can be mastery-oriented with regard to some issues and helpless for others). I’m drafting a questionnaire to assess mastery-oriented and helpless responses, performance and learning goals, and static and dynamic conceptions about the nature of fluency/stuttering (but it is not ready yet). After that I intend to apply the questionnaire to a group of PWS. Regards, Sandra
