That was one of the things I leanted right away -that I hated seeing the SLP count my dis-fluencies. It took me a while to bring that up. I was afraid of rockingthe boat, but I really felt uncomfortable. So I finally got the courage to mention it, and we have worked out alternative ways to conduct a quality discussion and for the SLP-in-training to collect the required data. Honesty has to be one of the key ingredients in this recipe!
