In Israel the area is very small. The most slp's learn about stuttering from the same lecturers. There are very few slp's that want to work with stutterers. The stutterers also have a bad experience with slp's that don't know enougth about stuttering, so they try alternative ways. for example i look for a stuttering modification expert-and i cant find anyone. So you are right -we need educate the people about stuttering but i try to educate the stutterers also because all the bad experiments they passed. What amaze me, that we didn't want to talk at all about stuttering some years ago,and today we enter so deeply to the field!! thank you and keep your good work-Pam
